A single principle with two applications.Ground cultivation using the AHWI rotavators is a method for subterranean and widespread deep ploughing of vegetation areas. In a similar fashion to mulching, organic material is shredded and mixed in with the topsoil. Unlike mulching, however, the ground is treated to a depth of approx. 50 cm. Ground cultivation is highly recommended, for example, for the post processing of mulched areas, or the recultivation of fallow land and forestry areas. The AHWI rotavators actually shred root stock and residual wood underground, and besides the shredding of organic material, they also aerate the soil, loosen it and finely comminute it. The result is an homogenous, nutrient-rich and well drained friable soil formation that is ideally suited to new plantation use. Contrary to stump clearance, in which the root stock is extracted and transported away, this kind of cultivation actually allows nutrients from the root material to find their way back to the natural cycle. Ecological viability also makes economic sense.Using the AHWI mulchers to work the land in forests, agriculture or infrastructure areas saves not just on time, personnel and machine operational hours, but they also allow you to profit from many additional advantages: when recultivating plantations, for example, you do not have to spend time and effort clearing up branch or plant crown material. Also, the additional costs associated with the removal and disposal of root stock may also be waivered along with the sophisticated technology for the post processing of the root stock. The use of environmentally friendly technology pays off in other aspects too: because the AHWI methodology behind ground cultivation carries ISO conformity, your corporate image increases along with its market acceptance. This can be particularly beneficial when bidding for contracts, which then gives you that all-important competitive advantage.
