AHWI Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1990. As a forward looking enterprise AHWI created the company concept from "Design to Operation” using well engineered designed principles and in full cooperation with its customers and end users.
Three core activities WASTE PROCESSING, LAND CULTIVATION and RECYCLING, form the basis of an innovative development program of machinery for forestry and infrastructure projects, for plantation and fire prevention works and for the production of Biofuel for energy, as well as a host of other applications.

Providing economical and customized system solutions AHWI is aiming for further development of its international position.
AHWI machines have been designed for extreme operating conditions. In northern areas, machines are operating in freezing temperatures with snow and ice and tough forestry applications. In the tropics, they face relentless heat, dust and humidity. AHWI crawler tractors rise to the challenges of these conditions performing with both reliability and efficiency.
Additionally to the three core activities AHWI has developed a new product line – the design and production of mechanical demining machines.
