The UMZ700 is a professional solution for the preparation of large land areas consisting of mixed vegetation. This universal machine has been designed to transform otherwise unusable shrub land, be it line maintenance in forests, or plantation redevelopment, into useable agricultural areas. The transformation operation is carried out in two steps: firstly, while being pushed, upright material and flattened ligneous biomass material is assimilated and pre-shredded. Then, when pulled, the organic material is further reduced to a regulated grade and mixed in with the topsoil.

Mulching means sustainable development. The recirculation of the biomass in the natural cycle improves the soil structure, protects it from drought and erosion, and improves its humus content. A further advantage: the mulch layer actually guards against secondary vegetation growth. The UZM700 is very robust for high performance operation under difficult operational conditions - its optional turbine clutches ensure almost wear-free power transmission.
The carrier vehicle too is taken care of as its motor always operates at an optimum speed range where stalling is prevented. The patented W-Kinematic ensures that power transmission is optimized even at full rotational speed and at all working heights. The wear resistant rotor can be equipped with suitable AHWI HDT tools depending on its operational task. Because the grade or fineness of the mulch is fully adjustable by the hydraulically operated counter blades, you can be sure of optimal results. The UZM700 is suited to carrier vehicles with a power class between 250 HP and 400 HP.
